Thank you for helping me get healthy!  I came to you with severe allergies, chronic sinus infections and acidic PH level.  You treated me with an overall systemic approach with amazing results!  The blood work (Alcat test) you prescribed identified foods that although health for mos folks, created an inflammatory white cell response by my body.  Who knew that by simply removing these food fro my diet (totally simple to do), my seasonal allergies & sinus congestion would become almost non existent.  An added bonus , my energy level mental clarity are through the roof-and my acne problem gone all within 1 week of following the personalized food list. After all of those allergists, ENT'S and prescriptions over the years, I only wish someone had prescribed the ALCAT test sooner.  Thank you again!

The first time I went to Hansen Chiropractic was 2 years ago.  I was referred by my doctor.  I had pulled my back out and had ART (active release) done.  When I cam in I could barely walk.  After the 1st visit I felt much better.  By the thir visit I was back at the gym.  I highly recommend Hansen Chiropractic.

My 11yr old daughter took the Alcat test because she was getting frequent stomach aches.  The food additive and chemical portion of the test revealed she had a reaction to certain food dyes.  She has not had stomach problems since eliminating these dyes from her diet. January 2009                                                                             Frozen Shoulder

I have been seeing Dr. Hansen since 2002. I injured my shoulder playing tennis and figured it would just go away.  Well it didn't it got much worse to the point where I could barely move it.  I saw Dr. Hansen for a regular chiropractic adjustment.  While talking with him my shoulder came up and playing tennis, I advised him that I could barely move it.  He then told me that I should have "ART" done on my shoulder and he has had great success in frozen shoulders.  Dr. Hansen fixed my frozen shoulder in about 7 treatments.  Now it is fine and I can hit ground strokes when I play tennis with no problem at all!!! Within 3 days after eliminating the foods on my intolerance list I began to feel better.  It has been 3 weeks and every family member & friend that I have spoken to, have commented on how much better I sound and act.  My blood sugars have lowered to the point of needing less insulin-5 units per dose.  I awaken in the a.m feeling vital & alive where it had been a fight to get up and get going.  When I heard about this program I was very skeptical and decided to do this as a last ditch effort.  The out-of-control blood sugars (3 years), in spite of insulin and being careful about bringing it under control.  Additionally, after 3 weeks my insulin was cut from a total of 35 units per day.  I also have lost 27 lbs in 3 months.  Thank you Dr. Hansen this test saved my life!!

November 2008 Alcat-Ulcerative colitis/Weight loss

Alcat has helped me feel better in general.  I decided to try the alcat to see if I could lose weight and relieve my symptoms of ulcerative colitis.  Well to my surprise it helped with both!!! I have lost 7lbs without even trying.  Best of all I am off my meds for the colitis.  It has been 4 months and I have no bloating, cramps, gas or diarrhea.  Plus I rarely have headaches.  All this by following the foods my best is sensitive to, how easy!  Just like Dr. Pescatore says on the Alcat DVD everyone in America should have this test done, and he is RIGHT!!!

 After taking the ALCAT test and following a few changes in my diet, results have been quite positive.  Sinus congestion in the morning cleared up, and I'm off all allergy medication.  Excema on my legs also cleared up. My energy level is higher and much more consistent throughout the day, which has eliminated food binges. I completely recommend this test for everyone.

I started having neck and upper back pain in 1992 and went to the doctor on numerous occasions to get relief.  I was told to take Motrin, which was only somewhat effective and did nothing to get rid of the cause of my pain.  The pain interfered with my life and limited what I was accustomed of doing such as dirt bike riding.  Dr. Michael Hall M.D suggested I try Active Release Technique and referred me to Dr. Hansen.  After three weeks I was virtually pain free of this problem I have had for 15 years.  I recommend Dr. Hansen and ART to all my relatives and friends he is the best and so is ART!!!!

June 2008                                                                              Migraine/ Pinched Nerve

For the past 14 years I have been suffering from severe pain with what felt like a bone being out of place in my neck (which actually ended being all my muscles and nerves being wrapped around each other).  I had problems sleeping, concentrating at work, preforming my normal everyday activities.

I had tried using numerous different types of medications (Advil, Motrin, Vicodin, Etc.) and had seen numerous medical doctors and chiropractors, but to no avail.

Several months ago I was reading a Orange County magazine and noticed a story about "ART" Active Release Technique by Dr. Jeffrey Hansen at Hansen Chiropractic.  I immediately contacted Dr. Hansen's office and scheduled an appointment.  After the first treatment I could fell relief and definite improvement.

I have been treating with Dr. Hansen for the past several months now and cannot tell you what a relief it is to be pain free.  I no longer experience the headaches, the bone pinched nerves or the pain and tingling up and down my head and neck.

Dr. Hansen is a gift from God.  He is very compassionate and understanding of your needs.  He works with your schedule and his office staff is very accommodating and professional.

 I would recommend Dr. Hansen toe very person who has chronic pain.

 August 1995                                                        ART for legs and feet

 I had been a patient of Dr. Hansen's for various aches and pains since 1994, when I started having problems with my knee.  They did arthroscopic surgery, which didn't go well so the surgeon preformed a second surgery, which really compounded the situation.  After months of physical therapy I had to have a total knee replacement.  This healed quickly but my balance and walking was terrible.  So I had to have more therapy and nothing improved.  I was holding on to furniture when I walked and was afraid of falling down the steps.  My Doctors didn't know what else to do and told me I would have to use a cane or a walker.

I remembered Dr. Hansen had always helped me in the past.  So I went to see him.  He watch me walk and told me he had just completed training in soft tissue treatment called "ART' or "Active Release Technique" this addressed repetitive strain, sports injuries, and cumulative trauma disorders.  He worked on my feet and for the first time in long time I could feel the ground under my feet.  I walked out of his office and my balance and mobility were so much better and continued to improve with each visit.  It only took 2-3 visits and I was done!!

My husband, who would never go to a Chiropractor, has become a believer.  Both my husband and I are extremely grateful for what Dr. Hansen has done to make my quality of life better.  I truly would recommend ART therapy and Dr. Jeffrey Hansen to anyone in need.  He gave me my life back.

March 1998                                                                                                   Migraines

I've been seeing Dr. Hansen for 9 1/2 years, initially for my migraines and now for maintenance since my migraines have been pretty much eliminated. 

I'm writing this testimonial because I really respect the treatment my daughter received from Dr. Hansen's office.  When it comes to your children you want the very best treatment and relief from their pain.  It started with Erin being sent home from with a severe headache behind the eyes.  I asked questions and thought it was her eyes that were bothering her so I immediately took her to the eye doctor.  They took a battery of tests and thought she might need glasses, but they didn't know yet.  They wanted me to bring her back. 

Three days later on Saturday when again she was very ill with a headache and overall soreness,  I called my family doctor.  They sent me immediately to the emergency room.  In six hours they took several tests: cat scan, spinal tap, and several blood tests.  They were checking for brain tumor, meningitis, valley fever, etc.  After all the results that day they said everything cam out negative, and to go see a Neurologist. 

Erin missed a week of school still sick to her stomach, headache of and on, and no appetite.  On Wednesday of the next week when she was violently sick to her stomach,  I called Jeff in desperation to get his personal opinion.  He said bring her in now.  So at 12pm, he did his first adjustment and told me to bring her back at 6pm that evening.  After her appointment she wanted to eat!!

The next day she tried school but came back home.  We went to Dr. Hansen's for her third adjustment and he also placed ice on her.  She said she felt so good, finally we had one more appointment the next morning, but she went in with a smile this time.  Dr. Hansen said her spine had been misaligned due to carrying kids on her back during our vacations, which was resulting in migraines that made her physically sick.

 She is happy and has felt great since.  The whole family gets periodic maintenance adjustments and I tell everyone how chiropractic care has taken care of our problems and has kept them away.  Many thanks to Dr. Hansen and his caring staff.
